About
Hey there, folks! Welcome to my blog, Still I Rise! My name is Priscilla Wong and I'm currently 25. I've lived with a rare neuromuscular disorder called Nemaline Rod Myopathy (never heard of it, huh?) which progressively weakens my muscles and is determined to take me out of this world eventually. Thus far, my life has been a whirlwind with many highs and just as many lows. I believe humanity can learn compassion, inclusivity, and acceptance by viewing life through various lenses and with this blog, I strive to give you a glimpse of my life from my perspective. While I hope some of you will find inspiration or a new outlook on life through my narratives, not every aspect will be uplifting/light-hearted/funny and some might even be painful to read. However, it is my utmost desire to convey my rawest emotions in hopes that it either positively affects my readers or sends a message to those in similar situations: "YOU ARE NOT ALONE, I FEEL YOU." Enjoy the journey...
